Returns & Refund Policy

At Lamoralighting, we operate using an international fulfilment model. Many of our products are shipped directly from our global suppliers and partner warehouses. Please carefully review the following policy before initiating a return.


1. 30-Day Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

Return requests submitted after 30 days from delivery will not be accepted unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

·         Be unused and in original condition

·         Be free from wear, damage, installation, or modification

·         Include original packaging and tags

·         Include proof of purchase

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.


2. Mandatory Return Authorisation

All returns require prior written approval.

Do not send items back without receiving return instructions and the correct warehouse address.

Unauthorised returns may:

·         Be refused

·         Be lost in transit

·         Not qualify for a refund

Lamoralighting is not responsible for returns sent without authorisation.


3. International Return Address

Due to our dropshipping model, returned items must be sent back to the original fulfilment warehouse. In most cases, this warehouse is located outside Australia (often in China or another international logistics hub).

By placing an order, you acknowledge that:

·         Return shipping may be international

·         Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty under Australian Consumer Law

·         Original shipping costs are non-refundable

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we are not responsible for items lost in return transit.


4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

·         Used or installed products

·         Items damaged due to improper handling

·         Custom-made or personalised products

·         Clearance or final sale items

·         Items returned without original packaging

We reserve the right to inspect returned items before approving refunds.


5. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

·         Clear photos of the item

·         Photos of packaging

·         Your order number

Failure to report damage within 48 hours may affect your eligibility for resolution.

Where required under Australian Consumer Law, we will provide a repair, replacement, or refund.


6. Change of Mind Returns

For change-of-mind returns:

·         Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

·         Original shipping fees are non-refundable

·         A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply to cover international handling and logistics costs

Refunds will only be processed once the item has been received and inspected.


7. Refund Processing

Once your return has been received and approved:

·         Refunds are issued to the original payment method

·         Processing occurs within 10 business days

·         Banks and payment providers may require additional time

We reserve the right to withhold refunds until the returned item is received and verified.


8. Fraud Prevention & Abuse Protection

To protect our business from misuse, we reserve the right to:

·         Refuse returns showing signs of use or tampering

·         Deny excessive or repeated return requests

·         Request identity verification

·         Dispute fraudulent chargebacks using delivery confirmation and customer communications

Where a chargeback is initiated without first contacting us, we reserve the right to provide all transaction, delivery, and communication records to the payment provider as evidence.


9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. If the failure is minor, we may offer a repair or replacement within a reasonable time.

This policy applies in addition to your statutory rights.
